Honda

Honda refers to Honda Corporation (Honda Technological Research Industry Corporation) which is the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. The output and scale of automobiles are also among the top ten automobile manufacturers in the world.

Founded in October 1946 and September 1948, the company was founded by legendary figure Ichiro Honda. Headquartered in Tokyo, the company employs about 180,000 people. Now, Honda is a multinational automobile and motorcycle production and sales group. Its products include not only automobiles and motorcycles, but also power machinery products such as generators and agricultural machinery.

BrandZ is the world's top 100 most valuable brands in 2017, with Honda ranking 91 with $12.163 billion.

On July 19, 2018, Fortune ranked the top 500 in the world, ranking Honda at 30.

On February 19, 2019, Japanese automaker Honda was preparing to announce the closure of its Swindon plant in the United Kingdom.
